Cat Story

Being an alley cat I am use to many things. One thing I am not use to is water. I will never forget that unfortunate day some woman, who thought she had to do the world a favor, bathed me.

I was just walking down the alley a usual everyday thing. I was looking for the fish parts that the nearby fishery had to offer. I felt kind of unusual taking my same route today because I had this feeling of apprehension rushing inside me. I knew as sure as I was walking on the ground that something would happen. As I was walking toward my piece of fish that I had finally spotted, a young woman probably about twenty-five picked me up. I tried to tense my body up so she couldn’t get a hold of me as well. I tried clawing her with my well-trained claws but that did not seem to bother her. I finally gave up all hope. We got inside her car and drove for a short distance. As I was lying in the passenger seat I could tell that many other animals had been in this seat as well. We pulled into the drive and I thought this might be my chance to get away but today was not my lucky day. She hoarded me inside where I saw all kinds of other cats and dogs. Not one of them made a noise. They knew I was her new meat to torture.

We then went into the bathroom and she started to fill the tub up. She put some girly smelling bath bubbles in the tub; I knew in my mind this was going to be bad. I once again tried tensing my body but I was weak in her hands, it did no good. Her forceful hands pushed into the soapy water and scrubbed me clean. I fought dearly as if were losing my life. I then clawed her which she clearly did not appreciate because she let out a yelp and gave me a stern look with her bright blue eyes. Her eyes shortly lightened up because she was not the type to mad for long. It knew it did not matter, I was taking this bath and I could not get out of it. The phone suddenly rang and I still had soap all over me. She left me standing there in the tub with soap bubbles flying every where. I knew in my mind that this might be the time for me to make my get away. I jumped out of the tub and landed on the floor with my good balance. I then noticed she had left a small crack in the door so I squeezed my wet, soaked body through and made my way out. I walked until I saw an open window. I was getting ready to jump out until she stared chasing me. She ran chasing me but I was too witty for her. I run underneath the table for which she was to big to go under and then I made a long jump from couch to the window sill. I made my escape. I was actually dry by the time I got out the window from all that running around. I then went to my alley and found a nice place to take a nap. As I started to fall asleep I thought to myself that I should keep one eye open just in case. I am an alley cat, I do not take baths.
